For the past 10 years I have been a permanent resident in Rogate, previously as a weekend resident.
I became owner of the village shop and Post Office in 2004 since which time the welfare of the community has been uppermost in my mind.
I served as a parish councillor for five years and then took a break returning again in November of this year.
I am involved with the youth club in Rogate and help with the after school Bart’s club each week.
Throughout these years I have raised a considerable amount of grants to refurbish the youth club, build a playground and to refurbish a garage to accommodate our Heritage Centre as well as a grant to help replace the roof on St Bartholomew’s Church.
My main aim as a parish councillor is to work with the team of councillors to promote positive care in the community.
